Implantology is modern field which dentistry can´t be without. It offers the proper way how to solve the problem of losing one or more teeth.

Tooth Implant

In vast majority of cases titanium roller with scrolls replaces the toothroot and enables other parts such as crown and bridge to be fixed.

Local anesthesis is mostly used, so it is painless operation. If demanded the patient can be treated in total anesthesis or analgosedation.

It is necessary to leave the implant 2-3 months to become the natural part of the mouth. After this time the implant is adjusted by little operation with use of local anesthesis. After one or two weeks we make a sample of crown/bridge. To the implant we screw a prothetical pillar and we fix the crown or bridge. In some cases we can fix a temporary bridge on the same day as the implants. After 3-4 months the final bridge is made.

The fears of patients that the implant won´t be accepted by their body are mostly pointless.

The rate of success of above mentioned therapy is about 95-99 percent. Dental hygiene must be precise otherwise it leads to losing of jaw substance which is fixing the implant. We recommend not to smoke. When above mentioned conditions are strictly followed the implant has in fact unlimited lifetime.

What prevents from succeesful incorporation of the implant? Diabetes, reduced immunity, frequent smoking.
